The odyssey continues

We left Ashland Sunday 22 Sep and headed to Arcata. On the way, we stopped at the Tiger Preservation Center in Cave Junction, OR (see the separately posted photo). The trip might have been scenic but it was overcast and gloomy with not much visibility. We stayed the night in the Mad River Rapids RV Park, which is clean and fairly featureless. It does have respectable wifi (I am still working and need to connect up). It rained most of the night – we were snug in our nation.

On Monday after I finished work, we headed south. We paused to take in the sights in Eureka and took a spin on the Avenue of the Giants. We took one to the coast and ended up in Fort Bragg around 5:30. We stayed at the Pomo RV Park. It was unique in several ways – lots of greenery separating the sites, recycling containers, and a list of farmers’ markets.

Today, after I finished work, we set out for home pausing in the Anderson Valley at the Brutocao to pick up my wine shipment.
